Wednesday December 24th, 2008 Updated to the newest version of phpMyAdmin, 3.1.1, it can be access by the link on the left. And Merry Christmas!! Wednesday May 7th, 2008 Forgot to post that email works, it has since the day after that last post. All is well on the server. Monday December 31st, 2007 Email server is back up and running, if your account does not work, its probably because I forgot to add it, let me know if it doesn't work, should be a 5 second fix. Webmail is still down until tomorrow when I have the coordination necessary to perform such intense tasks as copying a folder to the server, of which I currently lack. Goodnight! Friday December 28th, 2007 I managed to not touch the server for a whole year! But upgrade time had to come. The server is now updated to Fedora Core 7 with Apache 2.0. Websites will be returning to normal this morning, databases were sadly lost in the upgrade due to the horrible corruption of a tarball, but if you took a backup it should be very easy to recover. Email will not be operational until I get the server installed again. Last time it took me a solid week, hopefully I should be able to do it in one go in one day this time. Questions or comments can be sent to me however you'd like it, just NOT through email, as that wouldn't work. Friday November 17th Server is now even more secure. Previously everybody was allowed read access to all files, this was in order for the web server to be able to read them when requested. I have strengthened security by setting specific permissions allowing only the web server read access to all files. Saturday August 26th Stats are now included on the Right panel of the page, they are calculated at the time you call the page. I'm also now officially opening my free hosting business, I'll be sending out some offers to people I think would be interested in the next couple days. Hopefully I'll get a few clients and I can get this thing rollin'! Thursday August 24th Ok, got awstats installed on the server. Currently it is setup to run every hour at *:15. I know thats a bit often, but I think it'll be nice to have semi-current statistics. Thursday August 22nd Got the server working, starting up my hosting business. Also designed this page. I'll add more stuff as I go. Everything important should be on one of the links on the side. Stats will come soon. |
