How do I upload files to my site?
      If you are you going to use FTP follow the following steps (most people):
  1. open up Windows Explorer (start+E usually does it) (If you really dont want to use explorer go download some program and figure it out on your own, Explorer is just too easy).
  2. type in ftp://yourdomainname.com. Wait for a login prompt to come up, enter your credentials.
  3. You can now drag and drop files off your computer onto your website. Everything web related is kept in public_html, your access and error logs are kept in the logs folder
      If you use SSH to connect to the server:
  1. man scp

How do I setup my e-mail client to download e-mail?
       This varies for each client, if you are having trouble check the documentation for your client per setting up an POP3 e-mail account. Here is the information you'll need:
      -> POP Server: pitelka.com
      -> SMTP Server: pitelka.com
Also make sure to set "My outgoing mail server requires authentication".
If you need help on a specific mail client, just ask I'll help you out.

I want forums/ a blog/ some sort of website!!!
       I will be more than happy to help you out by building a website for a fee. My only restriction is I DON'T DO WEBDESIGN. Your site will look....well like this one if you let me design it. Now if you want to give me a sketch of what you want it to look like and some colors, I'll be happy to take a shot at designing it for you, but nothing less than that. Remember, there are tons of free forum and blog software out there that you can just upload. I'm fine if your ok with one of those solutions. And quite frankly, most of them are better than anything I would write for you. But if you do want a custom solution, I'll do it for you.

I want SSH command line access!!!
       Thats fine, you'll just need to either (a): request training and have me show you some basic stuff; -or- (b) take a test with me screened in. Command prompt access is very nice, I recommend it for everybody, unless you don't know what a command prompt is, in that case you may just want to stick with FTP.

I need to setup a database, what do I do?
       I don't create a Database account for everyone by default. If you need one, just let me know at setup. If you need one later, thats no problem, I can hook you up. To administer your databases, use the link to the left to access phpMyAdmin.

Can I get telnet / Frontpage extensions / some other insecure item??
       $ rm -rf ~username

Wahh, you didn't answer my question!
       I thought you might say that, just ask me. I'll help you out for a fee.
